- 2 Tbsp Kosher Salt
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tsp Cumin

Rub the mixture all over the pork shoulder.
Grilling
Preheat your BBQ grill to low heat (around 250°F).
Place the pork shoulder on the grill, away from direct heat.
Close the lid and cook for 4-5 hours, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
Shredding and Serving
Remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for 30 Minutes.
Shred the pork using two forks, discarding any large pieces of fat.
Mix the shredded pork with BBQ sauce and serve.
Wine Pairing
Pair this classic BBQ pulled pork with a Zinfandel or a Syrah. The robust flavors and fruity undertones of these wines enhance the smoky, tangy BBQ sauce, creating a perfect balance with the rich pork.
